Frequently Asked Questions:
-What kind of advice can I ask? - Anything art related! Materials, programs, art schools, inspiration, job industry, how-to’s, design etc.! We’re not limited to just fine arts or illustration. Sculpture, photography, typography and so forth are all welcome! Though please keep your advice specific, as requests like “teach me how to draw” are too broad and vague.
-How do I reply to someone’s request for advice? - Two easy ways! Either reblog the post and reply in your own blog, or submit your reply here. Please indicate which post you are replying to (ie. “replying to ______’s post, or about _____”). Also, tag your submission as “reply”. The mods will post your reply in the topic it is about. (submission-replies only).
-I disagree with something someone said or there was inaccurate info posted. - Everyone is entitled to an opinion. So long as your opinion is politely worded you may submit it as a reply. Unless something is grossly inaccurate (blue+yellow=purple) we will post anything.
-What can’t I submit? - Anything containing name-calling, artist-bashing, hate or other trollish commentary. Too generic questions like “Can you teach me how to draw?”. Also we cannot do individual critiques on specific illustrations (atleast not now? Maybe we’ll host a critique day in the future)
